Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how MeridianX handles cancellations, refunds, and changes to service engagements. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Overview

Because MeridianX delivers custom, project based work, refund eligibility depends on the stage of the project, the type of service, and how much work has already been performed at the time a cancellation is requested. This policy sets out the general rules that apply to all engagements unless a specific written agreement states otherwise.

2. Deposits & Milestone Payments

Most projects require an upfront deposit to begin work, with remaining balances tied to project milestones or delivery. Deposits reserve project time and cover initial scoping and setup work, and are nonrefundable once work has begun, except as described in Section 3 below.

3. Refund Eligible Situations

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following situations:

  • MeridianX is unable to begin or complete the agreed scope of work
  • A project is cancelled by MeridianX before work has commenced
  • Duplicate or erroneous payments
  • Services paid for but not rendered, as documented in the written scope of work

Where a refund is approved, it will be calculated based on the value of work already completed at the time of cancellation, with the remaining balance refunded to the original payment method.

4. Nonrefundable Situations

The following are generally not eligible for a refund:

  • Work already completed and delivered according to the agreed scope
  • Hours already spent on consulting, development, or strategy work
  • Third party costs already incurred on your behalf (e.g., domain registration, licensing fees, paid app subscriptions, stock assets)
  • Client side delays or change of mind after work has begun
  • Dissatisfaction with a deliverable that meets the agreed written scope (in these cases, we will work with you on revisions within the terms of your agreement, rather than a refund)

5. Monthly Retainers & Subscriptions

Recurring services, such as digital marketing, SEO, or PR retainers, are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel a recurring service at any time, effective at the end of the current billing cycle; we do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing cycle already in progress.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us through our contact form or by phone at +1 (406) 417-2944, including your name, the service or project in question, and the reason for your request. We will review your request against the applicable written scope of work and respond within 5 business days.

7. Processing Timeframe

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days and issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
